The people over at Future Folk Records are doing some verrrry cool things. FF is a similarly run enterprise to Amazing Wow, but with no ads or merch to speak of yet. “Folk music is the music of community,” according to their about page, and because of the internet, “limitless numbers of people can now all be a part of the same community.”
So download their jams — they’ve got an impressively deep reservoir of fourteen artists. I’ve been into their newest release, Sylvie Ryerson’s Sawdust Songs.
